New Zealand Visitor Firearms Licence: Bring Your Own Rifle

To carry your own rifle on your own licence in New Zealand you need a visitor firearms licence. It is NZ$25, you apply online, and the window is four to six months out. Here is the whole thing in one place, instead of spread across four government pages.

Bow Hunting in New Zealand: What You Need (and Don't) to Bring Your Bow

A bow needs no firearms licence and no import permit to bring into New Zealand, which makes it the easiest hunting weapon to travel with. But there is one rule that catches people out, and it depends on where you hunt.
