Hunting in Gisborne

Gisborne and the East Cape hold some of the North Island's wildest hunting country: the Raukumara Range, the Motu River country, and the forested Waioeka Gorge. Red stag and fallow are the main game. Much of the Raukumara interior is fly-in territory, big, steep and remote. Guided hunting in the region is on private ground, so what you are buying is access to country that is otherwise hard to reach at all.
