How this directory works

Every listing is free. We do not sell listings, placement, or badges. Listings are ordered by how complete they are, with ties broken alphabetically, computed in code. Completeness is free to earn: claim a listing, fill it out, and it rises. How much room a listing gets on the page follows from the photos and detail we hold, assigned by us and never sold.

NZPHGA Member

Where we show an NZPHGA Member badge, that outfitter is a current Outfitter or Guide member of the New Zealand Professional Hunting Guides Association, drawn from their real membership. It is a credential you can confirm yourself with the association.

What "Verified" means

Verified is our own separate stamp. When it launches it will mean one thing: someone from the directory has visited the operation in person and checked it against a published checklist. It is not automated, not for sale, and not the same as NZPHGA membership. No listing carries an active Verified badge yet.
