New Zealand Trophy Hunting has run trophy hunts since 1987 and is based in the lower Hakataramea Valley, where it owns a high-fence hunting park for red stag, wapiti, fallow and other species. Free-range red stag and fallow hunts are offered in Central Otago, and tahr and chamois are hunted in the Southern Alps by helicopter.
